Jeun looked thoughtful and decided that further threats were useless. The woman was gone now anyways, so this had turned quickly into a pointless endeavor. He pulled out the book store's credit card from his slim, streamlined, possibly physics defying, leather wallet and handed it to the woman as she rung up the books, "In any case, in the future, don't go making enemies in my presence. I don't want to have your enemies associated with me- as I do try to keep my enemies to a minimum. It tends to work better in my favor." He took back the credit card as it was handed to him and put it back into his wallet which disappeared into wherever on his person he'd taken it from. He took the three bags full of books and handed them to Zahra, not questing how she would balance all three bulky paper bags but only expecting her to do it.
"I'm sure you would know," he said, raising an eyebrow at her as she spoke of pretentiousness, "Now. I'm not a terrible fan of sweet drinks. They just don't appeal to me. Sweet should be in foods, not drinks," he said, walking out of the thrift store and motioning for Zahra to follow, "But I'll try a bit. Never hurts to try."
