The Roleplayer
Name: Tomoko
Contacts: AIM: beatleperson4004; email: tomokobrowncoat@usfamily.net
Roleplaying Experience: Played for half a year in Flamingo Heights as David Sears (Solid Snake)
Activity Level: Mild to moderate (I'll check every day, but I won't scene every day)
Favorite Book(s): Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Princess Bride, Ancestor, Infected
The Character
Full Name: Charlotte Lefave
Nicknames: Char (as in 'charred')
Age: 32
Side: Unaligned (yet)
What are they? Human
Powers: Aligns with electric elements and can control storms under certain circumstances (I'll explain below)
Occupation: Seamstress
Appearance: Short, about 5'3.5"; fat and curvy, light skin, hazel eyes, brown hair
Personality: Quiet, somewhat easily rattled by strange and unexpected things
Likes: Making clothes, traveling, candles, red lilies
Dislikes: Standing out, her newfound power, spinach
Strengths: Piecing things together, empathizing with people, introspection
Weaknesses: Calming herself, facing problems immediately, coming up with solutions on the fly
Fears: Lightning
History: She had a fairly normal childhood but she hates lightning, and recently, she's been noticing sparks jumping across her fingers at work. When she ignored it, it got worse until she thought she could attract lightning and storms. She left her city to find a place where she could start anew.
How do they fit? She had the impression that she could perhaps blend into the crowd a little better than her previous home.
Roleplay Sample: Charlotte stared at her fingers, frowning as she tried to convince herself this wasn't happening. Common sense dictated that seeing was believing, but when metaphysics got involved, reality could be created by one's own conscience. So, she reasoned, sparks weren't jumping from fingertip to fingertip, running down the edge of her nails and disappearing, simply because she refused to believe what she was seeing. "It's just a result of overwork. I just need to sleep," she muttered to herself before carefully folding the cloth she'd been working on, setting it aside and flicking the light off before going to bed. She felt no more pinpricks from the sparks as she drifted off, but this incident was just the beginning of her realization that she was not, as she'd always assumed, normal.
Any last words? This is just a starting point, since I want to develop Char more in-world.
